1. 即通过一笔数量相等、方向相反的期货交易来冲销原有的期货合约，以此厂结期货交易，解除到期进行实物交割的义务。这种买回已卖出合约，或卖出己买入合约的行为就叫平仓。建仓之后尚没有平仓的合约，叫未平仓合约或者未平仓头寸，也叫持仓。交易者建仓之后可以选择两种方式了结期货合约：要么择机平仓，要么保留至最后交易日并进行实物交割。
