也叫隐喻。比喻的一种。不直接点明是比喻，而实际上是打比方。这种比喻用“是”“就是”“成为”“变成”等作为比喻词语。如“儿童是祖国的花朵”。

1. 修辞用语。常用“是”、“成了”等联系本体、喻体，表示相等关系的一种修辞格。

2. 暗中晓示。

   《新民晚报》1987.4.24：“ 韩兄 ，你说说看，一个朴素端庄、眉清目秀、笑脸迎人的村姑比之珠围翠绕、体态风骚、自视甚高的阔太，究竟哪个更可爱呢？我完全明白他在暗喻什么，只是会心地笑了笑。”
