The man of God said, 'I cannot turn back and go with you, nor can I eat bread or drink water with you in this place.
神人说，我不可同你回去进你的家，也不可在这里同你吃饭喝水。And he went after the man of God, and found him sitting under an oak; and he said unto him, Art thou the man of God that camest from Judah?
去追赶神人，遇见他坐在橡树底下，就问他说：「你是从犹大来的神人不是？」She called her husband and said, 'Please send me one of the servants and a donkey so I can go to the man of God quickly and return. '
呼叫她丈夫说，你叫一个仆人给我牵一匹驴来，我要快快地去见神人，就回来。If I am a man of God, ' Elijah replied, 'may fire come down from heaven and consume you and your fifty men! '
以利亚回答说，我若是神人，愿火从天上降下来，烧灭你和你那五十人。She went and told the man of God, and he said, 'Go, sell the oil and pay your debts. You and your sons can live on what is left.
妇人去告诉神人，神人说，你去卖油还债，所剩的你和你儿子可以靠着度日。And the king of Israel sent to the place which the man of God told him and warned him of, and saved himself there, not once nor twice.
以色列王差人去窥探神人所告诉所警戒他去的地方，就防备未受其害，不止一两次。And the woman said to Elijah, Now by this I know that thou art a man of God, and that the word of the LORD in thy mouth is truth.
妇人对以利亚说，现在我知道你是神人，耶和华藉你口所说的话是真的。And she said to her husband, Now I know that this man who continually passes through unto us is a holy man of God.
此后，以利沙每从那里经过，就转进去吃饭。妇人对丈夫说，我看出那常从我们这里经过的是圣别的神人。So the man of God returned with him and ate and drank in his house.
于是神人同老先知回去，在他家里吃饭喝水。
