蛆，比喻专干坏事的卑鄙可耻的人。

1. 蝇类的幼虫。

   《后汉书·方术传下·蓟子训》：“道过 滎阳 ，止主人舍，而所驾之驴忽然卒僵，蛆虫流出。” 清 龚自珍 《正译第七》：“佛言：‘我如师子王，一切无畏，畏师子身自生蛆虫，食师子肉。’” 沈从文 《会明》：“人一倒下，气还不断，糜烂处就发了臭；再过一天，全身就有小蛆虫爬行。”

2. 比喻令人厌恶的东西。

   明 单本 《蕉帕记·闹婚》：“呸呸呸，就扭死这些蛆虫不许啼。”

3. 比喻卑鄙无耻之徒或渺小无用的人。常用作詈词。

   老舍 《四世同堂》十九：“由 北平 而想到全国，假若到处的知识分子都像他自己这样不敢握起拳头来，假若到处有老二与 冠晓荷 这样的蛆虫， 中国 又将怎样呢？” 茅盾 《一个女性》六：“从前将他们当作魔鬼，现在才知道他们还不配，他们只是些蛆虫；和蛆虫们呕气，真是何苦来呢！”
