一种简单的光学仪器。由透明物质（玻璃、水晶等）制成。光线通过透镜折射后可以成像。一般分为凹透镜和凸透镜两大类。凹透镜中央部分比边缘部分薄，能使光线发散，如近视眼镜片；凸透镜中央部分比边缘部分厚，能使光线会聚，如远视眼镜片。
