汉语拼音：zhuàn jì

记载人物生平和主要事迹的文章。作者自叙生平的称“自传”，写一个人的生平事迹的称“专传”，合写几个人的称“合传”，把许多人物传记列在一起的称“列传”。

1. 经书的注释。

   《汉书·元后传》：“‘五经’传记，师所诵説。” 南朝 梁 刘勰 《文心雕龙·总术》：“经典则言而非笔，传记则笔而非言。” 章炳麟 《国故论衡·明解故下》：“传记有古今文，今文流别有数家，一家之中，又自为参错；古文準是。”

2. 泛指记载的文字。

   《汉书·东方朔传》：“因留第中，教书计相马御射，颇读传记。” 唐 韩愈 《南海神庙碑》：“考於传记，而 南海 神次最贵。” 宋 张淏 《云谷杂记》卷四：“ 秦 汉 以前，箭矢已通称， 魏 晋 以下，见於传记，不可具纪。”

3. 文体名。亦单称传。记载人物事迹的文字。一般由他人记述，亦有自述生平者，称“自传”。传记大体分两大类：一类是以记述翔实史事为主的史传或一般纪传文字；另一类属文学范围，以史实为根据，但不排斥某些想象性的描述。

   明 郎瑛 《七修类稿·诗文·济颠化缘疏》：“﹝ 济颠 ﹞至今相传之事甚众，有传记一本流于世。” 姚华 《论文后编·目录上》：“析言纪传，记志，总曰传记之属。” 赵树理 《实干家潘永福》：“我对他生平的事迹听得很多，早就想给他写一篇传记。”
