质量介于电子和核子之间的粒子。种类较多，性质不稳定，有的带正电，有的带负电，有的不带电，能用来轰击原子核，引起核反应。

1. 古代宗法，长子为宗子，宗子为士，庶子为大夫，祭於家庙，庶子则称介子。介，副。以示不敢僭越宗子。

4. 指 傅介子 。

   西汉 时出使 西域 的使者。《旧唐书·西戎传论》：“西方之国，绵亘山川，自 张騫 奉使已来， 介子 立功之后，通於中国者多矣。” 清 黄鷟来 《咏史》诗之一：“ 介子 一书生， 楼兰 立奇功。”

5. 物理名词。质量介于电子和质子之间的基本粒子的总称。它们都不能稳定存在，能用来轰击原子核，引起核反应。
