1. 谓没收财物、人口等入官。

   《史记·平準书》：“敢私铸铁器煑盐者，釱左趾，没入其器物。”《后汉书·光武帝纪下》：“詔 王莽 时吏人没入为奴婢不应旧法者，皆免为庶人。”《隋书·刑法志》：“ 魏 虏 西凉 之人，没入名为隶户。” 明 宋濂 《胡公神道碑铭》：“公以新没入之田实其数，其害乃除。”

2. 隐进，渐渐看不见。
