印度教徒实现解脱的修习方法。认为瑜伽是个人灵魂（小我）与宇宙灵魂（大我）结合化一的手段。其根本经典为《瑜伽经》，主要有八种修持方法。

1. 梵语。相应之意。

   《瑜伽焰口施食要集》：“瑜伽， 竺国 语，此翻相应，密部之总名也。约而言之，手结密印，口诵真言，意专观想，身与口协，口与意符，意与身会，三业相应，故曰瑜伽。”
