旧时称饭馆、茶馆、酒店中的招待人员。

1. 官府差役。

   《廿载繁华梦》第二回：“堂倌骑马，拿着拜帖，拥着执事牌伞先行……其餘马务鼓乐，排匀队伍，都有十数名堂倌随着。”

2. 亦作“ 堂官 ”。旧称茶馆、酒店、饭馆、澡堂里的服务者。

   《儒林外史》第二八回：“当下吃完几壶酒，堂官拿上肘子、汤和饭来。”《二十年目睹之怪现状》第二八回：“问他泡茶时，堂倌还在那里揉眼睛，答道：‘水还没有开呢。’” 柳青 《创业史》第一部第五章：“尽管饭铺的堂倌和管账先生一直嘲笑地盯他，他毫不局促地用不花钱的面汤，把风干的馍送进肚里去了。”
