无机化合物，化学式CaSO4·2H2O。透明或半透明结晶体，白色、淡黄色、粉红色或灰色。大部分为天然产，用于建筑、装饰、塑造和制造水泥等。中医用作解热药，农业上用来改良碱化土壤。也叫生石膏。

1. 含水的硫酸钙。可用以塑像及制造模型，亦可入药。
