思维的基本形式之一，反映客观事物的一般的、本质的特征。人类在认识过程中，把所感觉到的事物的共同特点抽出来，加以概括，就成为概念。比如从白雪、白马、白纸等事物里抽出它们的共同特点，就得出“白”的概念。
