河流、湖泊、水库和海洋的自由水面以及地下水表面，在某地某时刻高出基准面以上的高程。观测水位常用水尺和水位计。水位的变化主要受水量变化或风浪、潮汐等的影响。

1. 江河湖海及水库等水面的高度。一般以某个基准面为标准。
