2. 停留；耽搁。

   宋 曾巩 《郊祀庆成》诗：“暗蔼如无间，迟延若可亲。” 元 舒頔 《太常引》词：“山色共承宣，君秩满，我迟延。几度醉花前，曾怪杀春山杜鹃。” 王西彦 《眷恋土地的人·独行》：“他跨着快步，仿佛一迟延就会被祸害咬住。”
