朝代，公元前770－公元前256，自周平王（姬宜臼）迁都洛邑（在今河南洛阳市西）起，到被秦灭亡止。

1. 朝代名。从公元前770年 周平王 把国都从 镐京 东迁至 洛邑 起，至公元前256年被 秦 所灭为止。其间 战国 时代，作为中央政权的 东周 王朝，已名存实亡。

2. 战国 时代的小国名。
